It is not only in Amsterdam or The Netherlands where you can see windmills. The United Kingdom has a handful of operational windmills. Worthing has one operational windmill perched on top of a hill reachable only through a narrow uphill drive. Only one car can pass through the long winding road up the hill so any car going up or down the hill has to stop and check and give way to each other. High Salvington Windmill is an excellent example of a working post mill dating from approximately 1750. The mill has been extensively restored and was able to restart grinding in 1991
