Santa Claus is Coming to Toronto (Again) !

The Holidays are coming. Starting off with this weekends Canada Thanksgiving Celebration, then Sta Claus Parade,then its Christmas time. The Santa Claus Parade, a Toronto tradition for more than 100 years, returns on November 18 in Downtown Toronto. During our first year in Canada, we watched the parade from University Avenue.

This year , we made plans of staying overnight in a downtown hotel so that we can be early in the parade route in anticipation of huge crowds that usually watch the parade.

Thanks to Agoda, we have booked our Agoda rewards for a free overnight stay at Holiday Inn Suites in Downtown Toronto.

We had some points expiring by end of the year, so what better way to make use of it than reserving a room in downtown Toronto. The Santa Claus Parade's route this year is much shorter but since we will be staying close to Eaton Centre, we probably will position ourselves there to get a vantage view of the parade. I hope it also snows on that day. In 2010, the first snowfall came during the Parade.
