This is my 11th visit to Montreal-the City that is characterized by endless road construction.

This time we went to Mc Gill University and saw this scuplture outside a building near University campus.
The Illuminated Crowd is a sculpture where 65 people of all ages, race, facial expressions and conditions are depicted on four platforms. This illustrates the degradation of the human race and symbolizes the fragility of the human condition.
(The Illuminated crowd: 1981 McGill College Avenue, just a block away from the main gate of Mc Gill University in downtown Montreal)Everytime we visit Montreal, hubby and I will wonder how long the road construction will stop(which looks like a never ending story).
It is good however, that the city itself is very conducive to biking. You can rent bikes just about anywhere around the city.

In fact, bikes are the favorite mode of transport of most students at Mc Gill University, the leading university in Canada.

It was surprising that there was a heat alert in Toronto today (40C) while it was 17C sweater weather in Montreal. It is still Springtime in Quebec while it almost feels like Summer in Toronto.
