Stonehenge, the historic stone monument has been commonly associated with the annual celebration of summer. When we visited it on our first day in UK, we saw some sun worshippers going around the monument.
Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in the English county of Wiltshire, about 2.0 miles (3.2 km) west of Amesbury and 8 miles (13 km) north of Salisbury.

This is our very first time to see this awesome rock formation located about an hours drive from London. There was a long queue of tourists at the entrance .Most tourists came on bus tours that usually includes visit to the city of Bath and Windsor castle.

Despite UK weather to be normally gloomy and wet on a typical summer, our visit was marked by the brightest of sunshine and cool 12C weather. It was such a glorious day to celebrate the first few days of English summer.
