It will be my 10th visit to Montreal and so far I have stayed in 6 airport hotels in Montreal.
Below are my Tripadvisor reviews of these hotels:
1) Residence Inn Marriot Montreal Airport
“Its like staying in your own condo”,Reviewed September 11, 2011

We stayed in a Suite room for one day while my husband was having a business trip in the nearby business park.

Positive:
Nice beds, kitchen with utensils, spacious suite, Free Internet,No Smoking hotel, Free Airport shuttle and Thursday Barbeque for guests
Negatives:
Breakfast is quite early 6am-9am every weekdays and 6:30-10 am weekends which doesnt cater to late sleepers, far from
downtown Montreal(20 minutes drive)
2) Courtyard by Marriot,Montreal Airport
“Near to airport and Mall”
Reviewed September 21, 2011

The advantage of staying in this hotel is that its near the airport and near to a mall as well as to a business park.
Average hotel. Breakfast is nothing fancy. Since I have stayed in numerous Marriot hotels, I would say this is a typical Marriot Courtyard room.
Internet and parking is free. This is a no smoking hotel.

Its located just beside another Marriot property, Residence Inn and they share some facilities like the pool. Its also near the highway.
3) Fairfield Inn and Suites,Montreal Airport
Nice Airport Hotel”

My husband was doing business near the airport so we chose this hotel when Courtyard Marriot was not available.
Positive:
-Room has very good (big)size ,near the airport, bed was comfortable,we requested and got additional feather pillows. I always love Marriot beds, Free coffee at the reception anytime 24 hrs,Free internet
Negative
-Not much choices for breakfast, far from downtown,Parking is not free
4) Chateau Vaudreuil,Montreal
“Reminds me of Old Las Vegas Hotels”
Reviewed September 12, 2011

The rooms are furnished in traditional old style decor. It looks nice but I would prefer more streamlined modern minimalist furnishings .
The room has a mustard coloured carpet and the room smells a bit musty(I dont know if that is a perfume) .

The rooms however are quite large since all rooms are suites.
The room was furnished with two flat screen TVs and wifi was free. It is located at the lakeside so its usually a venue for weddings. If you want a lakeside view room you would have to pay an extra $10.
5) Holiday Inn Montreal Airport
“Nice Hotel Restaurant”
Reviewed January 23, 2012

Positive:
Near my husband client office,Free internet and airport shuttle,Love the food and ambience of the restaurant, free business centre
Negative:
Toilet floor was sticky(not properly cleaned),Hotel driveway was so icy
Room Tip: Ask for a room near the indoor pool
6)Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites
Reviewed February 28,2012

Positive:
Clean big suite room, nice bed, has a small kitchen, has an ante room with another LCD TV,Free wifi, shuttle bus and breakfast
Negative:
I would prefer carpet versus the laminate floors(since it is cold)
The only airport hotel we have stayed in more than once is the Fairfield Inn and Suites where we stayed thrice.
This coming Monday, we will stay at Crowne Plaza Montreal airport Hotel. Its like we are doing the rounds of the Montreal airport hotel area.
