Hubby has a business trip in New Jersey and he brought me along. This is how we squeeze in time together in between his business trips so we go around to explore places after his work.
We passed by New York again during this trip. This time our trip to New Jersey via New York took only 7 hours compared to the 9 hours trip we took last year. We made sure we checked our GPS and take the toll road which was definitely faster.
Its definitely spring already with Cherry Blossom trees showing their pretty blooms.
Last year we had limited time for sightseeing which did not allow us to do some shopping. So we made sure our first stop was the Woodburry Premium Outlet stores(Ranked #1 by Forbes Magazine) in New York which is the biggest outlet mall in New York City.
The Woodbury Premium Outlet stores has close to 200 stores and you would need maybe the entire day or two to see all the stores. You could see some shoppers who came directly from the airport lagging their luggage along while shopping. This is how popular the store is with tourists to New York City
When some tourists from Asia visit this famous Woodbury Commons in Central Valley, N.Y., they get off the plane at JFK or LaGuardia, hop in a cab with three or four empty suitcases and simply say "Woodbury." And the cab driver knows where to go. In fact, Asians make up such a huge percent of the company's customer base .This is the reason why you would see a lot of Asians shopping in Woodbury with their luggages still with them(straight from the airport).
We only had 3 hours to shop since we arrived at 6pm and the stores closes at 9pm so it became a veritable Amazing Race for us. Despite my aching feet(from walking) I had a great time shopping specially the bargains I got from some of the stores.
