Char Kway Teow- cardiac unfriendly ricecake strips stir fried over very high heat with light and dark soy sauce, chilli, a small quantity of belachan, whole prawns, deshelled cockles, bean sprouts and chopped Chinese chives.

Chili Crabs- is a seafood dish popular in Singapore. Mud crabs are commonly used and are stir-fried in a semi-thick, sweet and savoury tomato and chilli based sauce.

Laksa- a popular spicy noodle soup from the Peranakan culture, which is a merger of Chinese and Malay elements found in Malaysia and Singapore

Chicken Rice-often known a Singapore's national dish of delicately poached chicken infused with ginger with rice cooked in chicken stock served with fresh ginger, chilli and kecap manis sauces.
