Perks of a Frequent Flyer

Hubby travels an average of 8 months in a year which means that he is always away during important events such as his forthcoming birthday(January 17).
I never envy his travelling since I know how hard it is to sit down for a 20 hour flight or run as fast as you can to catch a connecting flight.
What I envy are the perks he gets because he is a frequent flyer.Let me count some of them:
Chance to shop duty free(we pay 13% tax in Canada)
Free Access to most Executive Frequent Flyer Airport Lounges
Staying in 5 Star Hotels
Flying in the Airbus 380
Getting Upgrades to First or Business ClassOftentimes hubby gets an upgrade only on short haul flights but thats enough for me to be jealous.
Preferred Boarding and Seating
You've probably heard the airport gate agent's boarding announcement: "Silver, Gold and Platinum members may board at their leisure." When traveling in the coach section on a full flight, priority boarding can be a welcome benefit, allowing elites to be among the first on board, while there's still space available in the overhead bins for carry-on bags.I usually get in first with him if I accompany him on his trips.
Some airlines also set aside better seats on the aircraft for elite members
And this one is what I love most...
Earning mileage and hotel points which we can use. Thanks honey.
