Innsbruck Austria is one of the places that had distinctly left a good impression in my mind. It is a place surrounded by the beautiful Alps and the Inn River. The name Inns Bruck comes from the river Inn and Bruck” comes from the German word “Brücke”, which means bridge, that is to say the “bridge over the Inn river”.
When we visited Innsbruck we stayed in this small budget hotel which is located along the Inn River and overlooking the breath taking view of the Alps.
One thing that made BASIC HOTEL number one is its location. It is located just a few blocks away from the major area of restaurants ,the river and several city attractions.
The rooms are modern, very new and clean. The place is really BASIC, you get a basic shower that is open . We had a room on the 1st floor(which is actualy on the 2nd floor) overlooking the mountains and a marketplace.
Parking is free at the back of the hotel provided there is still space for your car when u check in
Internet is free but u have to key in a new password every 3 hrs(limit of 3 hrs) It has a small cafe at the ground level,breakfast is at euros 3.8
But the best part is when you open your window, this is what you will see. I would pay any price to get this view.
One of the cheapest accomodations you can get in Innsbruck is about 65 Euros( S$120/day). See, I even kept our receipt.
