Buying Cheap Air Tickets

Our vacation in Asia after 3 long years in Canada will happen next year(our Toronto to Manila tickets are courtesy of hubbys Airmiles).

I had been monitoring the prices of air tickets daily and today I managed to snag cheap tickets for our trip to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur from seat sales of Cebu Pacific and Air Asia. You can't imagine my glee when I was able to buy three(3) one way tickets to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore for only US$15.27 each. I know the cheapest round trip ticket from Singapore to KL would be around $45 or $25 if you are indeed lucky but $15 is good enough for me since we are using Kuala Lumpur(KL) as our jumping off point to Laos and Myanmar.

And again this probably wont be cheap enough since I heard some of my relatives travelled to Singapore paying only P2000 round trip tickets but we are just paying P4413 ( US$106) each for our Cebu Pacific Ticket and the convenience of flying out from NAIA in Manila rather than Clark and landing at Changi Terminal 2(since they already closed the Budget Terminal for renovations).

We also have chosen our seats already which costs us P100 each way. To save on costs, we will not check in any luggage and we wont also eat on board which will save us money. Its still a long way to go since I am still waiting for my lucky stars to strike so I can book dirt cheap tickets to other places in Asia. Wish me luck!
