September 22, Saturday marked the beginning of Autumn.
Compared to last year, this year is much chillier. I remember going to Downeys Farm last year and we were still wearing our T shirts and shorts but today it was drizzling and we had to be bundled up to visit our neighboring favorite Autumn joint...Downeys Farm.
What we love about Downey's is that they have a huge display of pumpkins during Autumn and they also have an award winning winery.
The family that owns Downey also maintains Berryview,an Apple Farm just across the road. It was raining so we were not able to go apple picking.
My boys are now at an age were they don't want to go apple or pumpkin picking anymore. You have to practically bribe them to go with you to these places.
Oh well, we are really getting older!
