We arrived in Cambridge,Massachusetts at 8pm yesterday night after a long nine hour trip from Toronto. If not for the 2 hours we spent at the border immigrations at Niagara ,our trip would have been much shorter.

We went straight to the Harvard University campus hoping we can walk around but parking was so difficult it took sometime for us to get a parking space.

We were able to get a parking space right across the church near the student dormitories just at the back of the Inn@ Harvard.Harvard is quite busy specially on a Sunday night with a lot of students going around the campus with their groceries and food shopping bags.

One thing I can say about the Harvard campus is that you wont get hungry in this place. The Harvard Square which is the main entertainment shopping area in the campus has loads of restaurants and shops that you dont need to go to downtown Boston just to eat out and shop.

Downtown Boston is no different either, it has a lot of bars and good restaurants. It was however very hard to park specially during dinner time infront of the Union Oyster House which is the oldest restaurant in the US. We wanted to go and try out their clam chowder, but that probably have to wait.

This is Thacher street which is right off of N. Washington - where all the action is. There are wonderful Italian restaurants, shops, lot of famous restaurants with great variety of fast foods available just to name a few. Traffic on N Washington is atrocious which sometimes spills out onto Thacher. This part of Boston is great for history buffs, as it is known for all of its architectural buildings and landmarks.

I am hoping to explore Boston more if we have time on Wednesday before we go to Pennsylvania.
