One of my favorite places to stay in Cebu is the Plantation Bay.

It is a great place for some R&R or family vacation. It's quiet, exclusive and beautiful. There are lots of activities such as archery, wall climbing, bicycle rides, so you won't get bored.

THE LOCATION:

It is located in Marigondon, Mactan Island, Lapu Lapu which is about 30 minutes from Cebu City. It is a fully contained area with shops ,several pool areas and a lot of activities for families so you wont find it a boring place.

THE RESORT (Pools)

One thing that you would be spoiled for choice are the pool and waterways around the resort.

THE ROOMS

The rooms were of best quality and didnt have trouble with one thing. Staff was always cleaning around property aand had golf carts circling the resort in case you needed a ride.

They have cabins which can have at least 6 persons and it's cheaper.

But if you were to splurge I'd recommend the villas by the pool.

I love their no tipping policy since everyone is then treated fairly. Their people are polite, charming and helpful.

Breakfast is Pilipino and western style and there are a lot of choices. It is served beside the manmade lake. My two boys loved to swim and were in the water the whole time we were at the resort.

CAVEATS

With all my superlative praises for Plantation Bay, here are some negatives of this resort . To name a few of these are: Not much beach front since everything is manmade waterways and everything is expensive here(but worth it).
